Even though the summer is over, JAR has been hard at work to provide you with the sauce you need to stay warm all winter! It has been a great summer for us with the release of three new sauces that are located in more stores than ever as well as a newly revamped website to keep you up to date and in touch with JAR.
Keep an eye out for our holiday pack so you can give some hot sauce to your friends and family just in time for the holidays!!We have THREE *new* sauces that we just sent in yesterday for PH testing. That means all we have to do is finish submitting the paperwork and we can ramp up production!
Enough about the paperwork and technicalities... What kind of sauces you ask? First, we will be taking our amazing 'Gr8 Blend' and kicking up the heat! We'll be making a medium and hot version of the sauce you know and love. Each step will be a worthy increase in heat, all while keeping the same amazing taste.
Next, is a whole new type of sauce. We aren't ready just yet to tell you all about it, but it is DEFINITELY going to stand as our hottest sauce yet. It departs from our proprietary base blend, and moves into a whole new realm with the introduction of a single pepper: The Ghost Pepper. First and foremost, we strive for flavor and the new sauce has flavor first and then BAM, in comes the heat. It's not like all the other ghost pepper sauces that are just "hot". This stuff tastes amazing and packs a kick greater than all our other sauces combined!! Check out a snapshot of the sauce over on our Facebook page
UPDATE: GREAT SUCCESS!!! All three of the new sauces have passed the states PH tests. Operation Kick up the heat is a GO!Spring planting for 2011 has wrapped up and we have all our vegetables in the ground! With many started from seed in the house, the last of the spicy peppers were hand planted in our gardens, ready for the Wisconsin summer. We're on track for a great growing season now that our lovely Northern WI weather has FINALLY quit producing frost!

We have finally finished up with ALL the paperwork... and we have just wrapped up production on our first hot sauce, the Gr8 Blend!!
